After months of development and validation, we’re ready to introduce Nitehawk SB v2 — a significant evolution of our previous design. This update brings a range of hardware improvements and usability enhancements.

What’s New ?
- Upgraded Microcontroller
The onboard microcontroller has been upgraded from the RP2040 to the more reliable STM32G0B1.
- Added USB Hub & Secondary USB Port
Following our work on the Nitehawk-36, we’ve integrated an onboard USB hub and a secondary USB port to support additional devices directly at the toolhead.
- General-Purpose I²C Port
A dedicated general-purpose I²C port has been added to support a wider variety of sensors and peripherals.
- Fan Adapter Connector Orientation
We’ve reversed the connector gender between the main toolboard and fan adapter PCB to reduce the chance of short circuits. Furthermore, the headers are now keyed to prevent misalignment.
- Enhanced ESD Performance
The board’s ESD protection has been significantly enhanced. This should result in far few communication issues and increased board reliability and lifespan.
- Changed Connectors
Due to space constraints, Probe, TH0, and XY Endstop ports have been changed from JST-XH2.5 to JST-PH2.0 connectors.
