We’ve introduced a minor update to the Leviathan controller board. These changes do not impact performance, and existing users can continue using their Leviathan boards without any concerns.

Starting from late March, all shipped batches labeled S/N: V1.3-2503XXXXXX will feature the upgraded Leviathan controller board V1.3.

What’s New?

Added Components

Schottky Diodes (D25, D26, D27, D28) – These were added as freewheel diodes for the fan ports to provide some protection against excessive fan back-EMF.

Replaced Components

Main Microcontroller (U9) – STM32F446ZET6 microcontroller replaced with STM32H743ZIT6. The new MCU allows for potential compatibility with Reprap Firmware while still being 100% pin to pin compatible with the old STM32F446 chip. When compiling/updating Klipper firmware, remember to choose STM32H743 instead of STM32F446. There is no difference in pin config between the two versions.
